Matt Vogel enters his 8th year with the Varsity program, serving as the Defensive Line Coach and JV Defensive Coordinator.  Coach Vogel has led a unit that has featured multiple players in the top 10 in program history in sacks, forced fumbles, and tackles for loss.  As the JV Defensive Coordinator, he has contributed to player growth and production on the field, making the transition from the JV to varsity field a positive one for Tiger players.

Coach Vogel is a Tiger Alum, playing on very successful football, basketball, and baseball teams during his time as a player, including a state championship in basketball in 2010.  He then went on to graduate from SDSU before returning back to the area.
