Cliff Heglund is a Physical Therapist Assistant at Allina Health System- Springfield.  Cliff grew up in Aurora, MN and graduated from Mesabi East High School.  In high school he participated in cross-country running, hockey, baseball and track.  Following high school, Cliff attended Lake Superior College in Duluth, MN where he earned his Physical Therapist Assistant degree.  Cliff has been a volunteer coach at several different levels since moving to Springfield in 1996.  He has helped Coach Fink with high school volleyball and baseball.  

Cliff serves as the Linebackers Coach, entering his 6th year with the varsity program.  Cliff has led a position group that has featured many All-District and All-Area players.  2025 was no different,  with 2 players being named to the All-District, including Aiden Moriarty being named the District Linebacker of the Year.  Cliff and his wife Sarah live in Springfield with there 3 children, Eli, Easton, and Gia.
